Dear Parents,
Welcome to a new school year! My name is Caitlin Hutchinson. I am from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, as well as a Bachelor of Education degree.
Our course curriculum in Physical Education for the elementary levels focuses on the fundamental movement patterns and basic skills. In the middle years, individual and team sports, as well as the compononents of fitness are emphasized, and in the secondary program, a focus on a commitment to and love of physical activity after high school is my main goal in the program. Water and Water Safety skills are focused on through all levels, with a special emphasis during the first part of the year.
I am very excited for this new experience at Grace Christian Academy and would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome!
